A heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all of you that voted in last Tuesday’s village election for your overwhelming show of support and encouragement. It is an honor and distinct privilege to represent the outstanding residents of our fine community. I will continue to work diligently to keep the trust you have placed in me as we work cooperatively to address the challenges that lie ahead.

I also wish to thank all of my friends, neighbors and family members who stood with me throughout this campaign. Through all of the long days and evenings of this campaign, you were a constant source of inspiration and encouragement.

The election clearly reaffirmed our community’s commitment to the direction that the village has taken over the past decade. I will continue to support this direction and the policies that have been put in place to safeguard our village’s future. I look forward to participating in the many initiatives currently underway as well as exploring new opportunities that will enhance the quality of life of our village’s residents.

Real tax relief and fiscal responsibility will continue to be a primary concern, as it has always been. I look forward to working collaboratively with my fellow board members as we address the budget, taxes, development, and the many other issues ahead.

Congratulations to Mr. Paul Cusato on his re-election. I look forward to working with trustee Cusato as we move forward towards a brighter future, together. I would also like to thank Mr. Colbert and Mr. Werther for their years of service to the village and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Thank you once again for this opportunity to serve the great village of Mineola.
